HEBAHAN MENGENAI 2022 UNESCO KING HAMAD BIN ISA AL-KHALIFA PRIZE FOR THE USE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN EDUCATION

Dengan segala hormatnya perkara di atas adalah dirujuk.

2.      Sukacita dimaklumkan bahawa Suruhanjaya Kebangsaan UNESCO Malaysia (SKUM) telah menerima hebahan pelawaan pemohonan bagi 2022 UNESCO King Hamad bin Isa AL-Khalifa Prize for the use of Information and Communication Technologies in Education dengan tema "The use of public platforms to ensure inclusive access to digital education content” (seperti di lampiran). Hadiah ini adalah dibiayai oleh Kerajaan Bahrain untuk mengiktiraf sumbangan cemerlang projek individu, institusi atau entiti lain/non-governmental organization (NGO) yang telah menggunakan Information Communication Technology (ICT) secara kreatif bagi mempertingkatkan kualiti pengajaran dan pembelajaran serta prestasi pendidikan. Seramai 2 orang penerima anugerah akan menerima diploma dan US $25,000 (setiap seorang).

3.         Sehubungan itu, warga KPM yang berminat boleh mengemukakan kertas kerja kepada skum.bha@moe.gov.my sebelum atau pada 13 Januari 2023 (Jumaat). Syarat-syarat dan kriteria-kriteria pemilihan bagi penganugerahan hadiah ini adalah seperti berikut:

a) Syarat

• The project should be ongoing for at least for 1 year;
• The project and its organization should not be affiliated to UNESCO or receive any funding from UNESCO; dan
• The technology tools used by the project should be open and free

b) Kriteria Pemilihan

• Relevance to the Thematic Focus: The project is in line with the objectives of the Prize and is relevant to the specific theme of the year;
• Innovation: The project applies innovative technologies to provide affordable and inclusive tools;
• Evidence of Impact: The project should provide evidence of impact;
• Potential for Replicability and Scalability: The project should show evidence that it can be replicated in other contexts or have the potential to further optimize and scale its impact; dan
• Inclusion and Equity: The project should use innovative technologies to advance inclusion and equity in education, while taking into account marginalized groups, learners in crises and emergencies contexts and learners with disabilities.
