At the inaugural Ministerial meeting of the Forum for East Asia - Latin America Cooperation held in Santiago between 29-30 March 2001, Australia agreed to co-Chair, with Costa Rica, the Working Group on education/science and technology cooperation. FEALAC is an important initiative between the two regions and should provide significant opportunities to establish closer working relationships and to develop further collaboration in key areas of education and science and technology for mutual benefit.

This website aims to provide a gateway to Australia? major education and science and technology websites and, as other FEALAC members initiate their own sites, to important education and science and technology sites across both regions. FEALAC Members are:
